Coming Together for a Cause

On May 19th, 2025, we launched a fundraising campaign within our community to support Sanmaya di's treatment and living expenses. In just one week, the love and generosity of our extended family poured in. Together, we raised an incredible amount of Rs. 3,07,904/-.

Here’s how the contributions have helped so far:

• Rs. 59,265/- was used for her ongoing treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.

• With our support, Sanmaya also secured an additional Rs. 1,00,000/- in government assistance for her medical care at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.

• Over the past two months, she has undergone 6 chemotherapy sessions and 26 radiotherapy sessions. Her doctors have now advised a 6-week period of rest and observation before the next phase of treatment, which includes an MRI scan and follow-up consultations.

We're happy to report that her condition is gradually improving. Her appetite has returned, her strength is building, and she remains hopeful and strong. Through it all, her 7-year-old son has remained her pride and joy. A brilliant student, he recently topped his class in school exams. We are thrilled to share that he has been granted a full scholarship up to Grade 10 at Ananda Kuti Vidyapeeth High School, Swoyambhu.
